Oaxacan Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
- 2 oz Mezcal Rosaluna
- 2 cups milk of your choice, or water
- 1 2.7 oz Taza Chocolate disc (any flavor)
Preparation
Cozy up this winter with our updated version of a hot chocolate. What makes this a Oaxacan hot chocolate is the mezcal we made from the magical land of Oaxaca. So grab your favorite mug, get nice and snug, and enjoy!
Roughly chop or grate the hot chocolate disc and set aside. Simmer milk/alt milk/water in a small saucepan and mix in the chocolate, stirring until dissolved. Add in your Rosaluna and froth with a whisk or molinillo. Pour into your favorite mugs. Top with whipped cream, a dash of salt, or chocolate shavings - or all of the above (because, why not?). Share, sip & savor.
We use Taza Chocolate in our recipe but feel free to use your personal favorite hot chocolate mix!
